| Weapon of choice for shad |
What a therapeutic day of shad fishing in the rain. As more fish are swimming through, the odds are much better. I hooked 8 fish and landed 6 of them. Man! These fish are aggressive and so much fun on the fly rod. Especially when a female shad takes the fly, just hold on tight and enjoy the ride. One of the fish I hooked put up an acrobatic display. I should start bowing to the shad in preparation for my tarpon trip haha.
