The Holyoke Shad Derby has ended, this typically means the tapering off of the shad run. The fishing has not been great lately since the water level has been low. But if you want to fish for shad, there are still fish to be caught. You just need to find them. Maybe the potential rain coming in the next few days will make the fishing a bit better.
